Easter’s Meaning to me…
“It's impossible to be afraid when you dwell in truth. The greater the fear, the farther from truth.” (The Universe, TUT)
“Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, as He already existed in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but instead emptied Himself by taking the form of a servant and being born in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death: death on a cross. For this reason also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”(Philippians 2:5)
On this day, over 2000 years ago, the name Jesus was established as The Truth, The Way, The Light, in a world of evil, managed through fear; Jesus a name exalted above all others. Have we fully grasped the equality, the connection, the security, of and with, God that is ours when we accept, embrace and live this Truth? When we use this Truth to shine a Light on all our fears and all the evil and instead choose to live according to God’s Way?
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” (John 3:16-17)
Do we fully grasp that all our fears; fear of the current day’s chaos we see in the news, or fear of our uncertainty of the future, is undeniable evidence that we are too far away from The Truth; too far away from our divine connection with God?
This is the day to remember The Truth; our divine connection to God through following His Way. Faith in this Truth means fear has no power over us; chaos is merely theater, constructed by evil forces, to keep us disconnected from God. Any uncertainty should remind us that faith is our connection to our salvation.
Our command is to follow God’s Way; Jesus gave us all the guidance we need, in the six petals of the rose, of The Lord’s Prayer.
FAITH: Our Father, who is in heaven; hallowed is His name.
SURRENDER: If we surrender to His will,
SERVICE: we are agreeing to assist with bringing His kingdom to earth as it is in heaven.
ABUNDANCE: He gives us each day everything we need.
FORGIVENESS: He forgives our human failings if we learn to forgive those yet not awake and connected to His love and compassion.
STRENGTH: He delivers us from evil by giving us strength to resist the temptations of succumbing to fear and doubt and uncertainty.
THE WIN! And, thus, by following God’s Way, we do our part to bring about His Kingdom, His Power and His Glory to all human’s earthly experiences, thereby working with God to fulfill His mission of “creating heaven on earth”.
“It is finished” spoken by Jesus, as he took his last human breath from the cross, was a cry of victory, because, through his human death, He had defeated everything that can hold us in the captivity of fear. This is His promise; that if we follow His Way, evil is defeated.
How great is our fear today? How defeated do we feel? How far are we from God and trusting His promises?
Today is the day to release our fears, claim victory over evil and reconnect our hearts to Him. This, multiplied throughout humankind is what will conquer evil and bring His heavenly kingdom to earth.
May this Easter reconnect you to God! Jesus is alive! His divine spirit longs to work through each of us! Repeat his cry, “It is finished!”
