I am studying the, potentially more accurate, accounts of women from history, since the crucifixion of Christ, who have been vilified because of their threat to patriarchal power.
“The Church needed to create fear of God’s wrath in the people, which kept the masses in order quite well.”
Agreed. Jesus spoke out against the church and its vengeful god and instead focused on Love. I’ve read many books on this subject, several by Bart D. Ehrman: ‘Jesus, Interrupted’; ‘Misquoting Jesus’, and more recently, ‘The Third Jesus’ by Deepak Chopra.
I don’t believe now, that God intended for women to be considered and/or vilified as the lesser, weaker, evil gender they’ve been portrayed to be by the Catholic Church.

Help me understand your proposition.
Where is this mentioned in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, which documents Church doctrine?
